Join this weekly Tai Chi class in Hulme, designed for older people who want to practise Tai Chi and gently enhance their overall wellbeing.
Held on Tuesdays at Claremont Resource Centre, this class is brought to you by ACCG, the African Caribbean Care Group. Sessions are gentle and effective, with a focus on improving posture, deepening breathing, increasing joint mobility and strengthening key muscle groups.
The class takes place in the day room and offers a supportive, welcoming space to move at your own pace. Free for ACCG members.

If you fancy a midweek 5k and a pint after, this Manchester city centre running club might be your thing.
They meet every Wednesday at Society and run a set 5k route through town. It is relaxed, social and open to any adult who wants to join. You will run with a friendly mix of people from across Manchester, whether you are a regular runner or just getting back into it.
Once you are done, head back to Society for a free drink, courtesy of Society and Deya Brewery, and stick around for a chat.
No need to sign-up. Just turn up in your trainers, ready to run.

If you like your chess with a bit of fresh air and background music, this Sunday meet-up in Manchester city centre is worth a look.
It takes place at the steps at Castlefield Bowl, where adults gather for relaxed outdoor games, good tunes and easy conversation. You can challenge someone new, bring a friend or just drop by see who is up for a match.
There are plenty of boards available and all levels are welcome, from total beginners to seasoned players. It’s friendly, social and pet friendly too, so furry companions are welcome.
