This twice-weekly chess club on Manchester’s Oxford Road Corridor is for students who love chess, want to learn how to play, and meet people who share their love for the game.
It’s run by the UoM Chess Society, and takes place on Thursdays at the Turning Tap. Expect to play casual games and tournaments, be invited to plenty of social events (including the occasional pub crawl), and hang out with fellow chess players.
